Mijn specifieke interesse binnen de interventie cardiologie ligt bij de oudere patiënt met aortakleplijden. Naast de minimaal invasieve ingreep is het ook belangrijk om de kwetsbaarheid van deze populatie in beeld te hebben en het gesprek aan te gaan met de individuele patiënt wil bereiken met de mogelijke behandelingen. Daarnaast was ik tot voor kort opleider Cardiologie vanwege mijn interesse om de komende generatie cardiologen te begeleiden in hun carrière.
