University General Practice

Do you live near Amsterdam UMC, VUmc location, and need a general practitioner? You can register with the University General Practice (UHP). Our doctors provide the same care as other general practitioners. In addition, they conduct scientific research and train students and junior doctors to become general practitioners.We are open on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In the evenings and on weekends, just like patients from a regular practice, you can visit the after-hours GP service.

Follow the route instructions for car, bike, or public transport. You can park in garage P1. Please note: it is a 6-minute walk from P1 to the general practice.

Appointments

• Call to schedule your appointment between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, preferably as early as possible. From 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM we are available for urgent requests only.
• Call to request a home visit between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
• If you have scheduled a phone appointment, the doctor will call you. Please note: we call from a private number.

Juvoly Quickconsult

In our practice, we use the software program Juvoly Quickconsult. It is a tool for the healthcare provider that converts spoken text into a summary for the General Practitioner Information System (HIS). This helps the healthcare provider's work, making your visit more pleasant. The software program ensures that the healthcare provider has to type less and has more attention and time for the conversation with you. The spoken texts are not stored anywhere, and the summary is saved in the HIS by the healthcare provider after verifying that it is correct.
