You can easily request repeat prescriptions through our digital patient portal, Mijngezondheidsapp. A list of your current medications is available, and you simply select the medications you wish to reorder. The GP will review your request to ensure the medication can be continued and will forward it to your pharmacy.
By Phone
This option is only available for patients registered with the University General Practice at Amsterdam UMC. You can request repeat prescriptions by calling 020-4441400 between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM and selecting option 3 in the menu. Clearly state your name, date of birth, and pharmacy, followed by the medication you need.
Processing Times
- Prescriptions requested before 11:00 AM will be ready at your chosen pharmacy the next business day in the afternoon.
- Prescriptions requested after 11:00 AM will take two business days.
Important
- Plan ahead: Requests made after 11:00 AM on Friday will only be ready by Tuesday afternoon.
- Repeat prescriptions can only be issued for medication already registered with our practice. For new medication, dosage changes, or requests to send prescriptions to a different pharmacy, please contact the assistant directly.
